About the Company/Role: Our client is a global leader in regenerative and biological agriculture, with over 30 years of experience delivering innovative solutions to optimise soil health and plant performance through chemistry, biology, and data.
They are seeking a
casual, full-time QA/QC Chemist to join their team for a period of
3-6 months with potential for extension. In this role, you will support production, quality assurance, and product development activities, ensuring all products meet internal specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
This is a hands-on position offering a mix of laboratory, production floor, and office-based work, with strong involvement in continuous improvement and formulation development.
Duties:- Perform on-site QA batch testing and support production compliance activities
- Ensure all manufactured products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate product testing programs and liaise with external laboratories
- Analyse internal and external test data; investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions
- Support product development, reformulation, and adaptation for domestic and international markets
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating raw materials, ensuring quality and compatibility
- Design and conduct stability and performance testing
- Maintain and improve product documentation and labelling to meet regulatory requirements
Skills & Experience: To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or formulation chemistry
- Strong understanding of quality assurance systems, analytical testing, and product formulation
- Experience with fermentation or microbial processes
- Background in agricultural, fertiliser, or liquid formulation products
