About your duties: Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, your main responsibilities may include:
Liaise and coordinate analytical testing with external laboratories
Data entry, report writing, and generation of Certificates of Analysis
Release raw materials and finished products through internal systems
Manage laboratory consumables, including purchasing and stock control
Raise purchase orders, receipting, and invoice processing
Assist with calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment
Support maintenance of quality and compliance standards within the laboratory
Participate in proficiency programs and internal audits
Maintain laboratory housekeeping and cleanliness standards
Ensure all work complies with OH&S and regulatory requirements
Support training of staff where required
Collaborate with internal teams including Quality, Operations, and Customer Service
About you:
Diploma or Certificate in Food Science, Technology, or a related scientific discipline
Minimum 1 year of experience in a QC laboratory within food manufacturing or a testing environment
Understanding of OH&S, HACCP, and laboratory compliance requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and strong administrative capabilities
Good problem-solving and reporting skills
Strong IT and data management skills
A team player with the ability to work across departments
Valid driver’s licence
