About the role: We are currently seeking a
QC Chemistry Analyst with excellent
HPLC experince, communication skills and is self-motivated.
Reporting to the QC Team leader, this role is responsible for testing raw materials and finished products.
This is a full-time contract role with a view to extend for the right candidate. Main Duties:- Inspection and acceptance testing of raw materials and in-licensed products
- QC testing of raw materials using a variety of techniques including HPLC, GC-MS, physical testing of components, AAS, UV-Vis and wet chemistry techniques
- LIMS login of test samples where applicable
- Updating SOPs and test methods
- Calibration of instruments, standards and controls
- Assists in the maintenance and upkeep of quality records and procedures.
- Accurately completes all documentation in which the operator has been trained relevant to the work area.
- Ensures containers/materials/samples/products are stored and labelled according to specifications completing all necessary documentation
- Maintains basic stock or document control for all items according to procedures
About you:- Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in a GMP environment
- Demonstrated experience using HPLC, wet chemistry techniques including UV-Vis, AAS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
