• Based in the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, this role is a 6-month contract as a Microbiologist to start ASAP.

About the role:

Reporting to the Microbiology Team Leader, this position will involve:

• Routine QC analysis and aseptic microbiological testing
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
• Preparation of media
• Report writing & updating database
• Completing documentation
• General housekeeping

To be successful in this position you will:

• Have a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Microbiology or a related discipline
• Be a quality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail, have good communication skills and have the ability to work in fast-paced team
• Have previous experience in a highly regulated environment as a Microbiologist is highly desirable
