QC Officer - Afternoon Shift

About the company/role:

• Plastics manufacturing company
• Based in the Southeast suburbs of Melbourne
• Seeking a QC Office to join the team on afternoon shift (3pm-11pm)
• Casual contract, full-time hours (Monday-Friday)
• Potential to go permanent
• Immediate start
• Ideal for candidates looking to join QC in a technical environment that is not a traditional laboratory

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Monitoring production processes through routine physical QC testing and visual inspections of products
• Ensuring GMP standards are maintained within the production area
• Reviewing, updating and writing relevant documentation
• Assist in resolving customer complaints
• Data entry into Microsoft Excel and SAP
• Liaising with the internal stakeholders

Skills/experience required:

• Tertiary education in Science or Engineering is ideal
• Previous QC experience in food or plastics manufacturing environment
• Previous experience with injection moulding machines/products is highly advantageous
• Good knowledge of GMP standards
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong initiative
