QC Sampling Analyst - Microbiology

About the Company/Role:

• Global pharmaceutical company based in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne 
• Seeking QC Sampling Analyst responsible for critical utility sampling in water/gas, environmental monitoring sampling & support sample receipt and testing
• 12-month contract with potential for extension 
• Immediate start

Duties:

Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 

• Perform Environmental Monitoring sampling.
• Perform critical utility sampling, such as water sampling, gas sampling & facility cleaning sampling.
• Log & record samples into LIMS system in accordance with GMP requirements.
• Send samples for testing & analysis to laboratories.
• Complete documentation in accordance with GMP standards.
• Effectively work independently or within a team.

About You:

• Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Microbiology
• Demonstrated experience within pharmaceutical industry with exposure to Environmental Monitoring, water/gas sampling & clean room sampling required
• Gowning and Microbiology experience highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Can work both independently or within a team
