Seeking Experienced QC Analytical Scientist who displays initiative and is self-motivated.
12 month casual contract
Monday - Friday, standard working hours
Duties: This role will be a combination of documentation and bench work in the laboratory. Your duties may include but are not limited to:
Develop experimental studies for the implementation of new methods and innovative technologies
Responsible for the development of experimental plans including estimated materials, times and resources required for the identified work.
Prepare, review and update standard operating procedures, test procedures, protocols and associated documentation
Provide subject matter knowledge to investigation of deviations, atypical results and method performance issues.
Identify, plan and execute testing requirements to complete studies with the appropriate documentation and presentation of results and findings.
To be successful in this position you will have:
Bachelor's degree majoring in Chemistry, life sciences or engineering
A minimum of 3 years' experience in cGMP Quality Control or at least 1 years' experience in method development for assessment of biological pharmaceutical products.
Experience in method development, validation and/or transfer in Chromatography (LC, GC), Spectroscopy (AAS, UV) or Nitrogen Determination by Combustion
Previous work experience in analytical chemistry techniques and instrumentation
Proven written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of the aspects of analytical method lifecycle management
Good problem-solving skills
Experience with quality management, documentation system and LIMS systems is desirable, but not essential
