About the company/role:

  • Seeking Analytical Scientist to join the Quality Control Excellence team on a 12-month contract with potential for extension
  • Monday – Friday, standard working hours

Duties:
The role is responsible for assessing laboratory instruments and software to ensure compliance with Data Integrity guidelines. Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Assist with data review and integrity of analytical instruments
  • Writing of qualification documents and execution of documents 
  • Performing testing of systems to ensure they are working as intended (eg, UVV, GC, Plate Readers, Particle counters
  • Evaluate systems for adherence to regulatory and company standards
  • Conduct data audit trial reviews in alignment with guidelines

About you:
  • Tertiary Qualification in Science in a relevant scientific discipline (Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry etc)
  • Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in a GMP QC department
  • At least 1 year experience in laboratory instrumentation lifecycle management (including qualification and/or laboratory process automation) 
  • Demonstrated experience in Instrument Validation 
  • Strong knowledge of test methods, method validation, quality management systems and LIMS
  • Well organized with the ability to work under pressure and motivation to work consistently with minimum supervision.
