About the role –
  • FMCG located in the South Eastern suburbs
  • Start ASAP
  • 1 month contract with full-time working hours
  • Assist with an upcoming audit
  • Daily execution and coordination of the company’s Quality & Food Management System
  • You'll be reporting to the Quality Assurance Lead
About your duties –
  • Drive, maintain, coordinate, and monitor the sites Food Safety & Quality Program
  • Ensure compliance with and effectiveness of the food safety program, including all prerequisite programs, CCPs, QCPs & RCPs
  • Ensure on an ongoing basis that all staff comply with the company’s hygiene and GMP standards.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to discuss/present food safety and quality standards/issues.
  • Implement and maintain compliance at the highest level with all applicable regulatory and customer standards e.g. HACCP, BRC, CFMSR, WQA
  • Conduct GMP & Internal audits.
  • Facilitate external audits and participate as required.
  • Proactively work with all team members
  • Actively maintain the QA database and filing systems to always ensure their completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure the timely reporting of the status of all CARs and, in accordance with defined rectification timelines.
  • Ensure that QA and QC records are maintained in an accurate and timely basis so any customer complaints or legal issues can be appropriately addressed.

About you –
  • Formal qualifications in Food Science or a related discipline are desirable.
  • 3-5 years’ experience with a food manufacturing organization
  • Coles and Woolies audit experience 
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of HACCP principles, Food Safety and Quality Assurance
  • Ability to work with a down-to-earth team culture with a hands-on attitude.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite
