About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Quality Control Laboratory Technician to join the Quality team on a contract basis commencing
26 October. Working a day shift from
6:00am to 2:00pm, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality and food safety standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
- Performing quality control checks along the manufacturing line
- Conducting microbiological testing on finished products and samples
- Completing environmental monitoring activities throughout the facility
- Collecting, preparing, storing, and labelling samples for internal and external laboratory testing
- Undertaking raw material inspections and assessments
- Performing basic wet chemistry analysis, including pH testing, titrations, dilutions, and solution preparation
About you: To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Qualifications in Food Science, Microbiology or a related scientific discipline
- Previous laboratory experience within food, beverage, pharmaceutical, environmental, or FMCG manufacturing environments
- Hands-on experience with microbiological testing and basic laboratory techniques
