Quality Coordinator

About the company/role:

• Major manufacturing company
• Based in the Southeast suburbs of Melbourne
• Seeking a Quality Coordinator to join the team
• Casual contract, fulltime hours
• Day shift, Monday-Friday

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Oversee day-to-day quality control activities to ensure product quality and compliance.
• Manage quality incidents, non-conformances, customer returns, and corrective actions.
• Monitor inspections, testing, GMP compliance, and production quality standards.
• Investigate quality issues, implement corrective actions, and escalate risks as required.
• Maintain quality records, calibration schedules, supplier quality documentation, and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Support training, stakeholder communication, and quality system compliance.

Skills/experience required:

• Tertiary education in Science, Engineering or related discipline
• Must have previous experience in a manufacturing environment within QA/QC
• Strong GMP understanding and compliance
• People management experience is highly advantageous
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and high attention to detail
