We are seeking a
Quality Coordinator / WHS Administrator to support both the Quality and Workplace Health & Safety functions of the business. This role is heavily focused on quality assurance, food safety, auditing, compliance, document control and quality systems management, while also providing support across site safety initiatives.
Working closely with both the
Quality Manager and WHS Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining compliance standards, supporting audits, managing quality documentation and driving continuous improvement activities across the site.
Duties:- Conduct internal food safety, quality, GMP and compliance audits
- Maintain quality systems, controlled documentation, SOPs and quality registers
- Manage non-conformances, investigations and corrective actions
- Liaise with Production and other departments to support quality and compliance objectives
- Coordinate external laboratory testing and manage Certificates of Analysis (CoAs)
- Support external, customer and certification audits
- Deliver GMP and food safety training to site personnel
- Maintain calibration records and support quality assurance activities
- Assist with contractor management, hazard and incident reporting, and incident investigations
- Maintain WHS systems and support site safety initiatives
Skills & Experience:- Food Science, Food Technology or related scientific degree required
- Completed Internal Food Safety Auditor training
- Previous Quality Assurance experience within a food manufacturing environment
- Experience conducting internal audits and supporting compliance activities
- Experience maintaining quality systems, documentation, SOPs and quality records
- Experience managing non-conformances, investigations and corrective actions
- Exposure to external audits and certification processes
- Knowledge of HACCP and food quality systems
- Experience supporting safety activities, including incident investigations and injury management (highly regarded)
- Experience using WHS systems such as Beacon, IonX or ICAM (highly regarded)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across Production, Quality and operational teams
