QA Manager / Quality Manager, to lead and direct the QA/QC teams for our client, an Australian dairy value add manufacturer based in Sydney’s Western Suburbs.
Seeking an established
Quality Manager, or a coordinator ready for the next step up, reporting to the
HOQ/GM Quality. Lead the site in all quality related matter’s.
This position will have 4 direct QA reports: with dotted lines to a wider team of 10 QC officers.
This role is site based and very hands on with production and operations on the floor.
The company is growing significantly and adding shifts (5am-12pm, M-F) and lines for the expanding QSR/retail market.
Duties:
- Provide leadership across the site for matters relating to quality
- Leading internal, external and customer audits and manage corrective actions, customer complaints
- Work with HOQ/GM Quality on CI projects
- Hands on production floor focus, driving change, implementing continuous improvement
- Responsibility for rostering of teams, training on QA for staff, have a high visibility on site.
Skills/experience:- Several years’ experience as an established Quality coordinator/manager in the food/beverage industry
- Bachelor’s degree in food science or a related
- Experience working in a fast moving, dynamic environment highly desirable
- Experience working with private label clients ideal
- Experience in SQF/WQA, HACCP, ISO, GMP essential
- Excellent leadership and communication skills essential
- Strong attention to detail and technical skills
- Flexibility to work across shifts as required.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
