Quality on the floor technician

About the company/role:

• Pharmaceutical company located in Northern suburbs
• Seeking Quality on the floor technician
• 12-month contract
• Weekly Rotational day (6:30am – 2:30pm) and afternoon (2pm – 10pm) shift
• Attractive salary

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Complete in-process checks, sampling and inspection using AQL methodologies for visual Inspection.
• Complete quality oversight of media fill inspections and in-process checks for packing operations.
• Provide quality guidance and initial point of contact for Quality escalations.
• Perform QA review and approval of operational, processing and records to ensure regulatory compliance with Australian, EU and USA regulatory requirements
• Ensure timely review of all documentation that is required for batch disposition.
• Partner with the Operational Services group to participate in deviation investigations and provide SME input for Root Cause Analysis,
• Development and agreement of robust CAPAs and analysis of repeat issues related to VI and Pack.

To be successful in this position you will have:

• A Bachelor of Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience working within the Pharmaceutical/FMCG industry
• 2-3 years experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, QC or QA role
• Strong GMP knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
