We are seeking a
Quality Technician / HSE Administrator to support both the Quality and Health, Safety & Environment functions of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a QC Laboratory professional looking to broaden their experience within a food manufacturing environment while gaining exposure to site safety and compliance activities.
Working closely with both the
Quality Manager and HSE Manager, you'll support laboratory testing, quality systems, production investigations and HSE administration to ensure the site continues to meet high quality and safety standards.
Duties:- Conduct routine laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process and production samples
- Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment
- Prepare samples for external laboratory analysis
- Generate finished product certificates and maintain quality documentation
- Review production documentation and support quality / production investigations
- Assist with contractor management, hazard and incident reporting, and incident investigations
- Maintain HSE systems and support safety initiatives across the site
Skills & Experience:- Bachelor of Food Science, Food Technology or related scientific discipline
- Previous QC laboratory testing experience within food/beverage manufacturing
- Experience operating and calibrating laboratory equipment
- Experience maintaining laboratory documentation
- Knowledge of HACCP and food quality systems
- Experience supporting HSE activities, including incident investigations and injury management (highly regarded)
- Experience using HSE systems such as Beacon, IonX or ICAM (highly regarded)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with production and operational teams
