The 3-month contract R&D/NPD chemist will be responsible for formulating and delivering new products to the market through planning and implementing development projects from concept through to full-scale production.
Responsibilities include:
Identify market trends and drive product innovation.
Develop and reformulate products from concept to launch.
Collaborate with Sales & Marketing on insights and strategy.
Prepare lab samples and conduct stability/PET testing.
Assess packaging for quality and compatibility.
Oversee scale-up and pilot production batches.
Support manufacturing with troubleshooting and process improvements.
Skills & experience:
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related discipline.
Experience in the development and formulation of cosmetics and personal care products is essential.
Experience with SAP is beneficial.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards.
Strong attention to detail and good time management skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
