About the company/role:

  • Join the Inks & Materials team
  • Permanent, full time
  • Based in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne

About the role:
  • Work on existing and new formulations
  • Actively engage in and contribute to the ideation process, from initial concept to final implementation
  • Perform design of experimental testing and trials for the implementation of new technologies/products
  • Support the delivery of multiple projects on time, to quality and to budget
  • Contribute to the development of project plans and communicate key developments
  • Assist in the preparation of gate review materials
  • Liaise with key stakeholders
  • Provide manufacturing improvements and technical support
  • Support the registration of IP under the guidance of the R&D Manager

  • Post-graduate qualification in Chemistry/Materials Science (most preferred PhD)
  • Experience working in a R&D environment
  • Previous working experience in a paint or chemical manufacturing environment would be highly regarded
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Excellent team collaboration and time management
