About the company/role:
The company is a well-established government facility in the field of specialised nuclear medicines and is recognised worldwide.
Our client is seeking a Radiopharmaceutical Development Chemist to join their multidisciplinary team. You will work with radiochemists to develop and implement analytical methods and quality control procedures for various biological agents, including monoclonal antibodies and their radiolabeled forms.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the effective development and deployment of chromatographic radioanalytical capabilities
  • Proficient in HPLC, SEC and HIC
  • Support routine radiopharmaceutical production and research in radiochemistry
  • Support the optimisation and development of standard operating procedures for advanced analytical techniques
  • Develop and maintain quality, safety, and compliance programs
 
Skills & experience:
  • BSc, MSc, or PhD in Organic/Synthetic/Medicinal Chemistry or a related
  • Experience with antibody and protein analyses using HPLC and other chromatography methods
  • Proficiency in validating processes from scratch during the development phase, acting as a Subject Matter Expert
  • Experience working in a similar regulated environment is preferred
  • Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this role
 
Additional details:
  • Southern Suburbs of Sydney
  • Ongoing casual contract for 11-12 months
  • Full-time hours (Mon-Fri) 8am/9am – 4pm/5pm
  • Car/ NSW licence required to get to the site each day
