Sales Manager

About the company/role:
Our client is a leading contract manufacturer serving well-know FMCG brands across home care, personal care and wellness categories. They are seeking an experienced Sales Manager specifically for their personal care range. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Sydney’s Upper North Shore.
 
Duties:

• Drive business development with new customers and grow existing customer accounts
• Act as a primary point of contact for customers in personal care space
• Work closely with the Marketing Manager to identify market trends and develop a sales strategy
• Collaborate internally with NPD, Supply Chain, Operations and Quality teams to manage project timelines
• Provide demand forecasts to facilitate production planning and inventory management
• Review pricing reviews, contract updates and commercial terms in conjunction with the finance department

Skills/experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing or a related discipline
• Previous experience working in a Sales or Account Manager role in FMCG manufacturing is essential, preferable in the personal care space
• Personal care knowledge is essential
• Proven ability to manage complex customer relationships and drive business development
• Background working closely with cross functional teams: NPD, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
