About the role:
Privately-owned Australian company with a reputation for selling innovative high-quality ingredients to the food & cosmetic industries.  Ingredients are sourced from Australia, NZ, USA, UK and Europe and they supply to customers across Australia and SE Asia. With a head office based in Brisbane, they are now seeking a Sales Manager to work across the NSW territory. 

Reporting to the National Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing established accounts as well as growing the customer base in NSW. Your duties will include:
  • Develop & maintain strong relationship with key customers
  • Liaise with key managers, R&D & administration staff
  • Meet KPI’s, both autonomously and as directed, to promote company products
  • Keep updated on current market trends in the food, cosmetic, nutraceutical & pharma industries
  • Create & deliver presentations to customers keeping them informed on product range
  • Provide written quotations for all customers
  • Respond to customer enquiries, monitor & ensure customer complaints are resolved

Selection Criteria:
  • Experience in a technical role in the food, cosmetic, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, chemical industry
  • Proven track record in managing company sales & supplier relationships
  • Background as a formulation/development chemist would be an advantage
  • Willingness to travel & maintain assigned territories
  • Strong understanding of customer & market dynamics
