I’m currently partnering with an
international specialty chemicals company on a search for a Sales Manager to manage and grow its
business in South Korea. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributors and key accounts, and acting as the main commercial interface with regional and global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Drive sales and marketing activities focusing on designated sub sector
- Manage and coordinate with distributors in South Korea
- Grow and maintain key customer accounts; identify and develop new business opportunities
- Promote products to both technical and procurement stakeholders at customer sites
- Work closely with regional head office to align on commercial, marketing, and technical strategies
- Monitor market and competitor activity; develop strategies to defend and grow market share
- Prepare sales plans, budgets, forecasts, and regular performance reports
- Ensure pricing, margin, and debtor management are in line with company policy
- Support customers with technical discussions, audits, product samples, and documentation (TDS / SDS)
- Represent the company at industry meetings, conferences, and customer events as required
Requirements- Proven experience in B2B sales within specialty chemicals, additives, or related industries
- Exposure to Flame Retardants, coatings, plastics, or performance chemicals is highly preferred
- Experience managing distributors and key accounts in South Korea
- Strong commercial acumen with a technical sales mindset
- Comfortable interfacing with regional / global head office stakeholders
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally as part of the role
