12 months casual contract with full time working hours
Monday to Friday with standard working hours
About your duties:
Management of samples, critical reagents
Receiving clinical and non-clinical samples
Ensuring samples are receipted checked and input into systems
Cataloguing minus 80 freezers
Cataloguing in online inventory systems
Conducting inventory checks
Participate in internal and external audits as required
Take responsibility for ensuring that incoming deliveries of materials into the facility are properly labelled and registered in the systems.
Take responsibility for picking and returning samples for testing
About you:
2-3 yrs of experience in a similar role
Experience with LIMS, Microsoft office
Strong attention to detail, multitasker
Appreciation of data integrity requirements and lab management systems
Strong digital skills – able to learn new systems quickly
Excellent organisational, communication, problem solving skills
Self-motivated individual
