About the company/role: We are recruiting for a well‑established organisation in the plastics manufacturing sector, seeking a dedicated and proactive
Dispatch Forklift Driver to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating the forklift, managing dispatch activities, ensuring accurate storage of finished goods, and loading/unloading trucks. You will also support production with basic machine checks, quality control tasks, and general housekeeping.
This position suits someone who is reliable, safety‑focused, and confident working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. High computer literacy and
SAP experience are highly regarded.
- Plastics manufacturing company
- Monday to Friday, 10am–6pm
- Will transition to afternoon shift after training
- Overtime available
- Casual ongoing contract with full‑time hours
- Must have a valid Forklift Licence and SAP experience
Duties, but not limited to:- Operate the forklift safely and efficiently
- Ensure all machinery is running smoothly and report any issues
- Cleaning and re‑assembly of production equipment
- Assist with production planning and workflow
- Quality checking of rejected or returned products
- Accurate storage, labelling, and movement of finished goods
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Skills/experience:- High computer literacy with strong SAP experience
- Previous experience in plastics, manufacturing, or a similar industry
- Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot
- Must hold a current Forklift Licence
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
