About the company/role: Our client is a diagnostic test-kit company with +30 years’ experience working across a wide range of industries: agriculture, aquarium, environmental, food & beverage, industrial and more. This role will focus on internal sales and will report to the Director and External Field Sales Representative. This is a full-time, permanent role and is ideal for a Science graduate who is seeking a challenging, technical sales position.
Duties:- Take and place customer orders
- Become a key technical and application expert for the product range
- Understand customer needs and requirements
- Liaise with customers to process orders and prepare quotes
- Manage phone and e-mail enquiries for new and existing customers
- Manage stocks logistics and warehousing
- Managing purchase orders and invoices
- General administrative duties
Skills/experience: - Bachelor's degree in Science – preferably Chemistry but not essential
- Previous experience using analytical instrumentation in a university laboratory
- Previous sales/ customer service experience would be highly regarded
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to use initiative and prioritise tasks
- High attention to detail is essential
