Scientific Project Manager

About the company/role:
 
Our client, an FF&E consultancy, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team in Southern Brisbane for a full time 3-month contract with the potential for extension.
 
As a Project Manager, you will be instrumental in developing projects specifically for healthcare and laboratory environments
 
Duties: 

• Deliver multiple projects in line with specifications and standards.
• Foster and maintain effective, collaborative relationships with both external and internal stakeholders at all levels to ensure consistent outcomes.
• Assist with tender negotiations, variations, and contract administration.
• Write detailed specifications for stakeholders based on project needs.
• Collaborate with team members to generate innovative solutions to challenges.
• Attend and actively participate in team and project meetings with stakeholders, clients, and suppliers.

 
Skills/experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in science or closely related disciplines
• Experience in a laboratory, clinical, health or closely related industry
• Strong Project management experience
• Significate report writing experience and understanding of design specifications
• Ability to manage and mentor in a collaborative and supportive manner
