Senior Chemist

AAbout the company/role:
Our client, one of Australia’s leading manufacturers are seeking a Senior Chemist with strong LCMS experience to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

As a Senior Chemist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of analytical testing
 
Duties:

• Coordinate and execute all aspects of the LC team, including method development, SOPs, validations, routine testing and reporting 
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment to include calibrations
• Perform analytical testing using HPLC, HPLC-MS, ICP-MS, GC-FID and other laboratory equipment 
• Develop and validate analytical methods to meet business requirement 

Skills/experience:
 

• Tertiary qualification in science, chemistry or equivalent
• Significate experience within a fast-paced chemistry laboratory environment 
• Strong analytical technical knowledge within a GMP environment
• Experience in leading, managing and mentoring a team and tracking performance of staff
• Prior TGA, FGA, GMP experience 
• Excellent organisational and delegation skills are essential along with an ability to prioritise
