About the Opportunity:

Our client is a leading multinational pharmaceutical manufacturer with a strong presence in Singapore. As part of their continued growth and commitment to quality excellence, they are seeking an experienced Quality Control leader to oversee analytical laboratory operations and drive compliance, operational excellence, and team development across the site.

This is a strategic leadership role with responsibility for managing laboratory operations, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring products consistently meet the highest quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of QC managers, supervisors, and laboratory professionals to achieve operational and quality objectives.
  • Oversee day-to-day Quality Control laboratory operations, including analytical testing, laboratory systems, and equipment management.
  • Ensure compliance with global GMP requirements, laboratory best practices, and internal quality management systems.
  • Provide quality and technical leadership to cross-functional stakeholders including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Technical Services.
  • Drive analytical method transfer, validation, verification, and lifecycle management activities.
  • Lead regulatory inspections, internal audits, and quality system initiatives to maintain a state of inspection readiness.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven decision making, process optimization, and operational excellence methodologies.
  • Manage laboratory budgets, resource planning, and capital investment projects.
  • Foster a strong quality culture, safety mindset, and employee development environment.
  • Support stability programs, investigations, change controls, and quality risk management activities.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Extensive Quality Control experience within the pharmaceutical, biologics, vaccine, or highly regulated manufacturing industry.
  • Proven leadership experience managing managers and large laboratory teams.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, laboratory quality systems, analytical testing, and regulatory requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical method validation, method transfer, and laboratory investigations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and people leadership skills.
