Senior QC Chemist (Night Shift)

About company/role:

• Major pharmaceutical company
• Based in the Southeast suburbs
• Permanent, full-time opportunity
• Night shift (11.30pm - 8am)

Duties:

• Analysis of raw materials and finished products using analytical chemistry techniques
• Testing and releasing of packaging materials and artwork
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments
• Provide technical support to production
• Train and mentor junior staff members in QC techniques and procedures
• Work closely with cross-functional teams

Skills/experience:

• Tertiary education in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or similar
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of analytical chemistry techniques
• Working experience with HPLC will be highly advantageous
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Good time management and organisation skills
