This is a newly created role due company growth. Seeking a candidate who is passionate about food hygiene and sanitation. Role does not require formal qualifications | 5 years’ experience required.

The role:
Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role will require you to be on site 5 days a week.
Responsbilities:
  • Continual Improvement - suggest and implement safety, hygiene and site improvements
  • Working independently building relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Developing sanitation training programs for site, presentations for senior staff members and implementing changes
  • Coordinate the preparation of timely and correct reporting of matters relating to site hygiene and sanitiation, to satisfy all company, site and statutory requirements.
  • Training of site staff in hygiene and sanitation policies
  • Internal audits, adhering to set KPI’s
  • Responsible for conducting microbiological and allergen cleaning and sanitation validation
  • CIP, ACS, COP
  • Develop, update and validate SOP’s for site

Internal stakeholders
Regional Sanitation team, Factory Manager, Line Leader, Production staff and Quality
Skills & Experience:
To be considered for this position, you will require:
  • A minimum of  5 years experience in the Food industry within sanitastion and food safety
  • Experience working in an operations quality role
  • Ability to work well under deadlines and pressure
  • Be approachable, enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable
  • Good organisational skills and problem solving abilities

The successful candidate will be involved in ensuring systems are in place so that all product and processes achieve required quality, food safety and environmental standards, and meet customer and regulatory requirements.
