A well-established materials testing organisation is seeking an experienced
Senior / Soil Technician to join its Macarthur laboratory. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable technician looking for stability, career progression, and a supportive team culture.
The Role You will work closely with the Laboratory Manager and senior staff, conducting soil and aggregate testing in accordance with Australian Standards. The role combines hands-on laboratory testing with field-based work and technical reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Soil and aggregate testing to Australian Standards
- Level 1 Earthworks Supervision (AS3798)
- Level 2 Earthworks Testing
- Laboratory and field testing, data analysis, and reporting
- Equipment maintenance and calibration
- Adherence to safety, quality, and QA procedures
You- Minimum 3 years’ experience in soil and aggregate testing
- Level 1 AS3798 & Level 2 Earthworks Testing
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Current Australian driver’s licence
