About the company/role:
  • Our client is a leading radiopharmaceutical company who are eager to expand their team with a new Service Technician/Graduate Engineer.
  • With multiple sites across Australian and New Zealand, each are licensed by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) to manufacture and distribute products throughout Australia, and by the Ministry of Health in New Zealand.

Duties:
  • Support operational staff when issues arise during and after production, as instructed by the Service Manager.
  • Assist with commissioning of equipment
  • Install new equipment while ensuring that they work safely and correctly.
  • Participate in executing and further developing our clients’ preventative and planned maintenance program (PPMP)
  • Participate with operational staff on managing and enhancing the PPMP system
  • Update and maintain Fiix Computerised Maintenance Management System.
  • Assist Principal Engineer and Service Manager where necessary with system monitoring and breakdowns and new equipment installations.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting and equipment diagnostics on a regular basis.
  • Assist with facility maintenance and completion of compliance checks/inspections.
  • Liaise with all contracted Engineers and external service providers ensuring compliance with company procedures.

About you:
  • Bachelors (or higher) in engineering (electrical, mechanical and/or equivalent)
  • Experience in industry would be highly regarded
  • Experience operating hand and power tools
  • Experience using a Multimeter and reading circuit diagrams highly advantageous
  • Experience with AutoCAD or equivalent highly advantageous
  • A mechanical mind with a strong ability to fix and repair equipment
  •  Proactive, customer-focused attitude
  • Strong communication skills to provide technical information to internal and external stakeholders
