Seeking a reliable and practical Service Technician to support water treatment operations various industrial sites. This is a full-time casual ongoing position with full training and technical support provided.

About the Role
You’ll be responsible for ensuring water treatment systems run safely and efficiently. Key tasks include:
  • Confirming site access the day before each visit
  • Checking in with site personnel on arrival
  • Inspecting plant conditions and equipment, addressing issues where safe
  • Monitoring chemical levels and requesting refills when required
  • Maintaining on‑site chemical inventory and coordinating orders
  • Conducting routine water testing and recording results
  • Preparing clear service reports with photos, comments, and action items
  • Communicating service outcomes with customer contacts
  • Attending site at short notice when urgent issues arise
Requirements
We welcome applicants from a range of scientific/engineering backgrounds, including those without formal qualifications but with a willingness to learn.
  • An understanding, or willingness to learn, basic chemistry and engineering concepts
  • The ability to work independently and absorb training quickly
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence using a laptop, Excel, Word, and email
  • A practical, hands‑on approach to troubleshooting
  • Reliability and accuracy in testing and reporting
  • Basic plumbing knowledge (advantageous but not essential)
