Evolve Scientific is recruiting an experienced Site Procurement Lead to manage procurement operations for a major pharmaceutical manufacturing site. This senior role will drive cost improvement initiatives, ensure continuity of supply, and uphold the highest quality standards.

About the Role

As part of the Global Manufacturing & Supply Procurement team, you will:
  • Lead site initiatives to reduce costs of purchased goods and services.
  • Develop and execute cost reduction plans in collaboration with Category Managers and Site Leadership.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality or delivery issues.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, GMP standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Build strong relationships across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, engineering, and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage site budget for direct materials, including standard costs and purchase price variance.
  • Execute sustainable cost reduction projects and support global agreements.
  • Oversee supplier qualification and compliance processes.
  • Maintain supplier information and performance scorecards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement practices.
About You
  • Degree-qualified with approximately 10 years of procurement experience.
  • Strong supplier management and contract negotiation skills.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally pharmaceuticals.
  • Strong category management experience. 
  • Knowledge of GMP and quality standards.
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated people management experience. 
  • Proficiency in SAP and/or Ariba systems preferred.
