Sterility QC analyst

About the role:

• Global pharmaceutical company
• 8 months casual contract 
• Monday to Friday with standard working hours 
• Flexibility to do weekend work

About your duties -

• Support the team to ensure that the assays performed in each department are prepared and executed in accordance with the code of GMP
• Maintain adequate documentation system
• Assist in the development, preparation and training of QC staff in approved procedures as required
• Collect agar plates and bring QC labs to incubate
• Perform result entry in Laboratory Information Management System
• Participate in investigation of out of specification results as required
• Ensure equipment and facilities are maintained / prepared in accordance with approved procedures.

About you -

• A Bachelor of Science, majoring in Microbiology or a related discipline
• Strong sterility experience testing via membrane filtration and direct inoculation for solutions, in-process, bulk and dispensed samples using the hydrogen peroxide gas sterilisation isolator system
• Must come from a GMP background
• Preferably experience within the pharmaceutical industry
• Excellent communication skills and a great attitude.
