About the Role Our Client, a world-leading center for Mining safety and health research, is currently seeking a
Technical Training Coordinator to join their Redbank based team for a full time 3-month contract, with potential for extension.
As a Technical Training Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in the engagement, delivery and management of a range of specialised technical training courses. This will be a hands-on, customer focused role where attention to detail, clear communication and a willingness to learn and collaborate will be required to deliver quality outcomes.
Duties:- Coordinate and support training and competency assessments, including coordinating schedules, collecting and examining data, and ensuring the smooth execution of assessment processes to address competency gaps.
- Provide high level administration and critical support and organisation for the interpretation of applicable training standards and their integration into the Learning Management System and develop procedures and guidelines for staff and clients
- Enter, maintain and verify accurate records of competency assessments and related data into the Learning Management System and prepare reports on competency-related metrics and assessments
- Liaise, consult, negotiate and maintain effective communication during day-to-day operations of the work unit in an appropriate manner with staff at all levels including external parties
- Provide support for ongoing projects and other duties as directed and required
Skills & Experience:- Experience providing high level administrative support in an RTO environment
- Strong understanding of the Vocational Education Training sector
- Understanding and experience working with Learning Management Systems and competency's frameworks
- Experience in procurement, travel planning, bookings and/or event management highly desirable
- Program and project management experience highly desired
