This is an exciting opportunity for a
Hands-On Engineer who enjoys understanding how equipment works, solving technical problems and working with data.
Reporting into the
Engineering team, you will support the testing, evaluation and performance monitoring of sophisticated medical devices within a regulated environment.
Duties:- Conduct testing and evaluation of medical devices and associated systems
- Analyse and process engineering and testing data
- Prepare technical reports and documentation
- Support predictive monitoring and device reliability activities
- Assist with fault finding, troubleshooting and technical investigations
- Perform hands-on equipment testing, assembly and disassembly
- Use engineering software, databases and internal systems
- Maintain controlled documentation and engineering records
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and other internal stakeholders
- Follow work instructions, SOPs and engineering procedures
Skills & Experience:- Degree in Electronic, Electromechanical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related Engineering discipline
- Experience within Medical Devices, Scientific Instrumentation, Manufacturing, Laboratory, R&D or other technical environments
- Strong troubleshooting, fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience conducting testing and analysing technical data
- Experience preparing technical reports and documentation
- Experience using engineering software, databases or integrated systems
- Comfortable using hand tools such as multimeters and screwdrivers
- Machine Learning experience - highly regarded
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
