Trade Assistant

About the Role:

Our client, an environmental company, are looking for a Trade Assistants to join their team.
Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8–10-hour shifts. This is a consistent, casual full-time position with a strong possibility of transitioning into a permanent position within 6-12 months of starting.

As a Trade Assistant the work requires you to complete a variety of duties that include but are not limited to:

• Enter confined spaces and pipes through a small hatch
• Work with piping, various tools, equipment and machinery
• Operating pipe CCTV equipment
• Perform basic maintenance and inspection of water and waste servicing stations
• Driving of company vehicles
• General labouring duties

 
Skills and experience you need to be successful for this role:

• No direct experience is necessary, although experience in any of the following fields would be highly regarded: waste management, pipe laying, labourer, tradesman, construction, maintenance, landscaper, plumber
• A current White Card
• A current driver's licence (a MR or HR licence would be very highly regarded)
• High attention to detail
• A positive attitude
• A strong work ethic and strong reliability
• *PLEASE NOTE: Applicants will be required to undertake a full medical assessment; drug screening and show evidence of or ability to obtain vaccinations for Hep A, Hep B and Tetanus to be eligible for this role. (This will all be organised for you at no expense of your own).
