About the company/role: Our client is a leader in the field of medical devices and is very close to the launch of a new product. We are looking for a switched on Mechanical or Biomedical Engineer who is looking to work within a large, dynamic and high achieving team. The role involves conducting reliability testing on a new medical device prior to launch.
Responsibilities include:- Conduct reliability testing on medical devices
- Conduct interval testing and accessory testing
- Register any issues on online portal
- Register progress of testing on online portal
- Communicate any technical issues to service technicians
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues
This role is a night shift role from 8pm to 4am. The role is for 4 months with a potential for extension.
Skills & Experience:- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
- Hands on experience in manufacturing of medical devices
- Strong technical knowledge of troubleshooting, service repair, equipment maintenance
- Strong computer skills and great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Sharp and proactive
