About the Role:
Our client, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Brisbane’s western suburbs, is seeking an experienced Validation Engineer to join their team for a causal ongoing position for 12 months, working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.
This role is responsible for executing equipment validation activities across the Maintenance / Engineering, Production, and Packaging Departments, providing technical expertise for equipment systems, supporting new installations, and managing the lifecycle of existing equipment within a GMP-regulated environment.

NOTE: Applicants will be required to undertake a full medical assessment, drug screening and police check to be eligible for this role.

The successful candidate will be responsible but not limited to:
  • Execute equipment validation activities, including training, security, and access management
  • Support the lifecycle management of equipment systems
  • Provide and execute validation requirements for new equipment/systems and upgrades to existing equipment/systems
  • Assess and support new equipment and system purchases and installations
  • Prepare, execute, and maintain validation plans, protocols, and reports
  • Ensure cGMP compliance by following company policies and procedures
  • Complete GMP documentation to cGMP standards
  • Report and investigate deviations in processing or procedures
  • Identify and participate in the implementation of Continuous Improvements (CIs)
  • Participate in Operational Excellence (OE) workshops and training
     
Skills & Experience:
The successful candidate must have:
  • A degree qualification in Engineering (or a related discipline)
  • Experience in a Manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with Project Management Systems
  • Strong understanding of GMP-regulated manufacturing environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with strong time management and organisational skills
