Warehouse Operator

About the company/role:

• Major pharmaceutical company
• Based in Western suburbs of Melbourne
• Seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator with LF/LO forklift licence
• 6-month casual contract with potential to extend
• Fulltime, standard business hours

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Unload incoming deliveries and trucks safely and efficiently
• Operate forklifts (LF/LO) and pallet jacks to transport materials throughout the site
• Repalletise materials and organise stock as required
• Accurately label, identify, and track materials
• Pick, prepare, and distribute materials to internal customers
• Deliver materials to end users across the facility
• Drive a company van for short-distance material transfers within the site
• Complete basic paperwork, inventory transactions, and warehouse documentation
• Assist with stock movements, material relocation, and inventory management
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and ensure safe work practices
• Follow GMP requirements, site procedures, and safety protocols at all times

Skills/experience:

• Current LF and LO Forklift Licence
• Minimum 2-4 years' experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
• Ability to perform general warehouse duties including picking, packing, stock handling, and material movements
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
• Basic level of physical fitness and ability to safely handle boxes and materials within reasonable limits
• Ability to follow strict procedures and work instructions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
