About the company/role:
Our client, a leading nutraceutical manufacturer, currently have multiple opportunities available for Weighing Operators in Virginia (QLD, 4014).

Duties:
  • Weighing and handling of raw materials using allocated scales
  • Lifting of raw material bags and other equipment
  • Operation of various equipment
  • Assembly and dis-assembly of all machinery and equipment used
  • Cleaning following strict procedures
  • Maintenance and completion of database entry
  • Identify and report quality issues while working
  • Assist with general production duties

Skills/Experience:
  • Work experience in cosmetic, bakery, food processing or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is highly regarded
  • Understanding of quality control
  • Be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 15-25kg
  • A high attention to detail and time management skills
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Willingness to undertake and pass a full medical assessment and drug screening.
