This is a 6 month contract with a rotating shift, working full-time hours.  As a Packaging Operator you’ll work in a Production Environment to assist in the packaging of products. About the Company & Role:  Join a Leading Food and Ingredient Manufacturer supplying high-quality bakery ingredients and yeast products to the Australian food industry. We are seeking a Quality Coordinator / WHS Administrator to support both the Quality and Workplace Health & Safety functions of the business. This role is heavily focused on quality assurance, food safety, auditing, compliance, document control and quality systems management, while also providing support across site safety initiatives. Working closely with both the Quality Manager and WHS Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining compliance standards, supporting audits, managing quality documentation and driving continuous improvement activities across the site. Duties:Conduct internal food safety, quality, GMP and compliance auditsMaintain quality systems, controlled documentation, SOPs and quality registersManage non-conformances, investigations and corrective actionsLiaise with Production and other departments to support quality and compliance objectivesCoordinate external laboratory testing and manage Certificates of Analysis (CoAs)Support external, customer and certification auditsDeliver GMP and food safety training to site personnelMaintain calibration records and support quality assurance activitiesAssist with contractor management, hazard and incident reporting, and incident investigationsMaintain WHS systems and support site safety initiatives Skills & Experience:Food Science, Food Technology or related scientific degree requiredCompleted Internal Food Safety Auditor trainingPrevious Quality Assurance experience within a food manufacturing environmentExperience conducting internal audits and supporting compliance activitiesExperience maintaining quality systems, documentation, SOPs and quality recordsExperience managing non-conformances, investigations and corrective actionsExposure to external audits and certification processesKnowledge of HACCP and food quality systemsExperience supporting safety activities, including incident investigations and injury management (highly regarded)Experience using WHS systems such as Beacon, IonX or ICAM (highly regarded)Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across Production, Quality and operational teamsCulture & Benefits:Training provided across WHS systems and processesSupportive and collaborative team environmentDiverse role across Quality Assurance and WHS functionsOpportunity to further develop auditing, compliance and quality systems expertiseApply Now!Ready to take the next step in your career? This role is full-time, rotating shift: 1 week day shift (7am-3pm) and 1 week afternoon shift (3pm-11pm).
