About the company and role: We are currently seeking a Microbiology Graduate who is looking for a foot in the door into a well-known food manufacturing company based in Perth. This is a full-time permanent opportunity.
If you are a recent Microbiology Graduate, we encourage you to apply as full training will be provided in this role. General duties may include, but are not limited to:- Sample receipt and data entry
- Sampling of site water
- Performing result entry in Laboratory Information Management System
- Performing Microbial plate reading and microbial identification
- Assisting with preparation, review and update of Standard Operation Procedures and Procedures for testing
- Participating in investigation of out of specification results as required
- Ensuring equipment and facilities are maintained / prepared in accordance with approved procedures
About you:- Completed or be studying a Bachelor of Science (Microbiology) or a related discipline
- Strong work ethic
- Quality focused individual with excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Work experience from a fast-paced environment
