Evolve Scientific are currently searching for a highly skilled Project/Process Engineer to join with one of our largest clients, a Global leader in the Pharmaceuticals Industry. Our client is looking to bring aboard a highly skilled P.E. for a 6-month contract. This project engineer will be based onsite in the northern suburbs for the entire 6-month period.

The Opportunity:
Exciting opportunities for a Project Engineer - Process has become available to join our growing project team for the construction of our client’s new manufacturing site in the Northern Suburbs.

Reporting to the Process Engineering Lead, this position will be responsible for:

  • Leading and delivering the project objectives whilst controlling scope changes to meet quality, budget and schedule
  • Ensuring functionality according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), safety and environmental requirements during all phases of the project (Design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Qualification)
  • All aspects of equipment commissioning and process design qualification
  • Providing technical leadership and direction with respect to the managed area of responsibility
  • Collaborating with others to contribute to a high performing culture
  • Assisting management of cost drivers across the team to ensure an efficient, improvement focussed operation
An ideal candidate must have:

  • Excellent understanding of the process and engineering systems within manufacturing, pharmaceutical, FMCG or similar highly regulated industry
  • At least 3-5 years' engineering or construction project management experience, with demonstrated ability to lead and deliver a project
  • A demonstrated ability to lead and work closely with multiple stakeholders to deliver large or highly complex projects
  • Financial experience in managing budgetary responsibilities
  • A good understanding of quality, risk and contract management processes and procedures
  • Ability to approach problem solving in a proactive and consultative manner
  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant Engineering discipline, such as Chemical / Mechanical Engineering
