Technician

About the company/role:

• Global mining organization - research facility
• Based in the Northern suburbs
• Casual on-going contract
• Full-time hours, Mon-Fri

Duties:

• Preparation of mineral samples coming in from all around the world using a range of techniques
• Processing of samples in the laboratory 
• Support projects
• Following SOPs and updating documents
• General housekeeping

Skills/experience:

• Tertiary education in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
• Experience within a laboratory or operating environment will be highly regarded
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work as part of a team

Recent chemical engineering graduates wanting an initial step into the industry will also be considered!
